One of the many marine applications for the Geoforce DTS deep-tow sub-bottom profiler is subsurface data acquisition for pipelines and cable routing surveys. Our dual acoustic source system has been deployed for pipeline investigation surveys to determine the best locations for routing pipelines to shore from LNG processing facilities along the United States eastern seaboard and the continental shelf.

For these pipelines and cable routing surveys, the boomer acoustic source was deployed to acquire ultra high-resolution subsurface data in water depths up to 100 meters in Beaufort Sea States of 2 to 3.
